Product Information (Guiding Principles)Deck ConstructionThe complex aluminium extrusion which is used to create our standard deck frame is the cornerstone of the Pro-Stage System. When assembled, the rail features:
The double tongue and groove feature is unique to Pro-Stage and ensures that decks self-align without compromise. In combination with the locking mechanism, the rail provides a secured precision joint. This rail section is also a feature of our step units, which are aligned and secured to the deck in the same manner. BridgingThe Bridging Technique is a key element in the overall flexibility of the Pro-Stage system. The technique allows any deck (with or without legs) to form a bridge between two supported units. For example, a Deck-Only Unit may be "bridged" between two Folding Leg Units. Similarly, any Folding Leg Unit may be used as a bridge when its legs are in the folded position. The principle of bridging is very important in the Pro-Stage System and is often a determining factor when packages are designed for clients. In practice, the technique saves time during installation. More significantly, it enables decks that would otherwise be incompatible because of height difference, to be used at a common height. CompatibilityThe Pro-Stage range includes both Folding Leg Units and Sub-frame Dependent systems. The following pages provide detailed information about the advantages of each product, however it is important to remember that all Pro-Stage products are compatible.
